Problem behaviors

A challenging dog can make life very stressful, even dangerous. Symbiont can achieve major behavioral overhauls, and give you the skills to control your dog with confidence. Below is a non-exhaustive list of  problem behaviors that we can help change.

Barking

Whether nuisance barking in the backyard or bossy barking to control human behavior, Symbiont can teach better ways to respond and communicate.

Jumping

Do guests tend to avoid coming over? Is the mailperson a little apprehensive? Symbiont can teach your dog to greet more charmingly than a Victorian schoolboy.

Chasing

Do you have to separate your dog from your kids when they are active? Is your dog overexcited by passing cars and cyclists? I can teach your dog impulse control, and keep them from causing harm to themselves and others.

Nipping

Dogs use their mouths to explore and communicate, often unaware of boundaries, personal space, or how they may injure others. Symbiont can teach consistent boundaries and respect.

Reactivity

Many dogs struggle with barking, lunging, and anxiety around other dogs. Patient training can change their mind and make walks enjoyable.

Unresponsiveness or Wildness

Dogs are excellent ignorers. Symbiont can teach you to better communicate with your dog, and how to capture their attention.

Repetitive nuisance behaviors

Such as humping, digging, chewing, chasing, bouncing, excessive licking. All of these can be addressed with the holistic approach Symbiont takes.

Human or dog aggression

Although it can be intimidating, canine aggression normally stems from fear. Positive training can change the way your dog thinks about what is around them, thus changing their behavior.
