Whether you're searching for a new puppy or wanting advice on if a certain shelter dog is right for you, Symbiont is happy to provide consulting and in-person temperament evaluations to guide your journey.
We tailor training to the unique behavior of each dog, making our lessons as productive as possible. Your animal's learning style, temperament, and motivation as well as your goals are considered when creating a customized approach.
Lessons start in your dog's comfort zone, which minimizes distractions and allows us to observe their behavior in context. Once basic skills are in place, we expand to parks, pet-friendly stores, or Public Access (for Service Dog training). This approach is especially helpful for addressing behavioral concerns.
We train owners and dogs, supporting continued practice at home and ensuring longevity of trained behaviors. Owners are also educated regarding canine communication, their dog's physical and mental needs, and best practices in husbandry.
